Create codesandbox.io Profile

You will be using this account to write code, throughout FE-1.

This needs to be done before the first FE-1 session. Please submit the form specified in the last section after you complete instructions in Sections 1 and 2.

Instructions to create your Codesandbox Profile

1. Go to https://codesandbox.io/signin   

2. You can either use your Gmail account or your Github account to do the sign-in. Click on 

   1. “Sign in with Google” for sign-in using Gmail account

   2. “Sign in with Github” for sign-in using Github account
      
      

3. If you don’t have a codesandbox account yet, you’ll be asked to add a username and display name. Click on “Finish Sign Up” once you add these.
   
   

4. You’ll be redirected to the codesandbox dashboard if your username was unique.

Instructions to create a new Sandbox

1. Click on the “New Sandbox” card in your Codesandbox Home page. Sandbox is the codesandbox.io editor where you can add code and view the webpage rendered.
   
   

2. Select “static” from the list of templates displayed. This is because we’ll be creating a static page without using any frameworks like React in the FE-1 sprint.
   
   

3. You’ll be redirected to the sandbox now where you’ll find a demo HTML snippet and the corresponding webpage rendered. (It’s completely fine at this point if you don’t understand what HTML is or what is written in the file).
   
   

4. Click on the sandbox title (next to “Drafts / “ on top)  and rename it as crio-sprint-fe1
   
   

5. The sandbox will be public by default. Please share the URL string (that you see in the address bar) using the form provided in the next section (Example: https://codesandbox.io/s/crio-sprint-fe1-20g91)
