Professional Guidelines for Crio.do Proctored Assessments

Modified on Fri, 29 Aug at 12:00 PM

Before the Assessment

  • System Setup: Ensure the device is equipped with a stable internet connection, a supported operating system, and a compatible browser to avoid disruptions.

  • Permissions: Grant all required permissions, including access to the webcam, microphone, and audio, prior to starting the assessment.

  • Environment: Use only a single monitor throughout the assessment. The assessment will require screen sharing; please ensure you are able to share your full screen.

During the Assessment

  • Full-Screen Mode: The assessment operates in full-screen mode. Exiting full-screen or attempting to switch to other browser tabs will be automatically detected and flagged.

  • Tab and Copy/Paste Tracking: All tab switching, copy-paste actions, and window exits are closely monitored and recorded as potential violations.

  • Behavioral Monitoring: The system analyzes candidate behavior for irregular patterns, such as frequent copy-pasting, repeated tab switching, or extended inactivity away from the test window.

  • Warnings and Feedback: Real-time alerts will be issued for any rule violations, such as tab switching or leaving full-screen mode.

  • Audio/Video Setup: Maintain a clear microphone connection and attend the assessment in a quiet, well-lit environment to ensure high-quality audio and video recording.

  • Time Management: Complete the assessment within the allotted time frame. If the time limit is exceeded, the assessment will automatically end and no further responses will be accepted.

Important Notes

  • Technical Issues: Candidates are responsible for resolving any compatibility or access issues before beginning the assessment. Technical support contacts may be provided in advance, but the assessment timer will not pause for technical difficulties.

Prohibited Actions

  • Leaving the test window or switching browser tabs at any point during the assessment.

  • Using multiple monitors or connecting external devices.

  • Blocking the webcam, providing misleading or obstructed visuals, or attempting to circumvent identity verification.

  • Utilizing unauthorized tools or reference materials or seeking external help (including AI tools) during the assessment.
